Born on Christmas Day: Amazing isn't it how God chose to send his Son Jesus into the world as part of a poor Jewish family. Worldly wisdom would say if you want to change the world -- then you should be born into a family with power and influence. But God knew what he was doing and Jesus' life; death and resurrection changed the world forever.
God often confounds worldly wisdom with His choices of people to do special tasks -- just think of Abraham, Moses, Peter and Paul -- if they had gone in front of an earthly interview panel I doubt they would have got the job. So if you think you haven't much to offer --has God got news for you!

Go with Jesus: Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 (NIV). While the choice is ours – the smart choice is Jesus. For as St Paul told the people at the church at Rome – “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 (NIV)

The Party Song: This is a kind of Christmas celebration song, but it doesn’t mention a baby in a manger, shepherds, wise men or angels. This song is about what Jesus has done for us – something that is worth celebrating.

Your Spirit Dear Lord is Like Clear Running Water: A song of praise and thanks giving to God for sending us His Holy Spirit. Towards the end of his ministry Jesus promised that he would ask God the Father to send us the Holy Spirit to live with us forever. – see John 14:15-21
